Inside My Heart

A few years ago, after my more than a year relationship, I decided to Kissed Dating Goodbye, to just entrust my love life to God.

Some people who heard about my decision not to date until I’m ready for marriage assume that my heart must’ve be broken. No, my heart was made know by my Savior.  The change in my attitude was the result of realizing the implications of belonging to Him. The Son of God died for me! He came to free me from hopelessness of living for myself. That had to change everything – including my love life. Having a boyfriend was no longer my greatest need. Knowing and obeying Him was. I wanted to pleased Him in my relationships even if it meant looking radical and foolish to other people – even if it meant Kissing Dating Goodbye!

But how could I fall at the time when I am guarding my heart????

When the ever little demanding but somehow a little bit charming cutie pours the magic to the locket, the world goes to a roller coaster. A roller coaster that promised certainty and uncertainty. But when the magic prevails, the star shines so bright and the magic goes to forever.

But… but the magic didn’t goes to forever! But maybe… maybe just for this moment.
Maybe, at the right time, at the right place and for all the right reasons God will whisper a spell for the magic to goes forever.

Thank you for being my sunshine in the world full of magic and roller coaster.

If and only if he knows what’s inside my heart…

We met in an unexpected and crazy chance. But I learned to love him even though he is partly stranger to me…

Maybe he’s too young… (but I don’t think so!) or maybe I just expected too much from him.

I want to met him… I want to give him a power hug and kiss..And I want to tell him right in his ear how much I love him.

I accepted his flaws (and I’ll accept all his flaws, if given the chance). And no matter what my mind shouts for, my heart, trust everything he tells me.

He simply draws a smile in my face just by simply thinking about him or just by the thought that he is always there for me.

I hate to admit it but I think my heart was accidentally broken :’(

This verse describes the characteristics of true love. These qualities can certainly be found in the person of Jesus Christ, and they can be found in all truly loving relationships. The problem with trying to “find” love in our dating lives, is that too often we don’t look for these characteristics. Rather we look at physical appearance, popularity, or wealth. These are not the qualities that God looks at and neither should we.

I love love.

I am, by my own admission, a hopeless romantic. If such thing is possible, I am in love with being in love.

There’s nothing else quite like it, and if you’ve experienced it, you know what I mean. Being in love is a patchwork of a thousand indescribable moments. Nervous energy runs through your body whenever you think of that special person, which is every walking minute. You lose interest in the dull chores of eating, sleeping and thinking rationally. You discover that every love song on your iPod (sosyal!) was written for you. It seems that someone has removed blinders from your eyes and you can see the world full of wonder and mystery and happiness.

To me and other romantics who share a “love for love”, God wants to give us a higher, grander view. He wants to deepen our understanding. Romance can thrill us to our core, but it’s only a small part of true love.

Just finished re-reading my blog posts! Weew!!! Nag-ipon pa ako nun ng GUTS para lang mag BLOGWALKING sa sarili kong blog! Haha :)

And what I learned???

I found my past posts so childish and innocent isama na din ang BORING tapos may mga wrong grammar pa! Yikes!!! But I'm proud to say that while I am re-reading to my recent posts, may IMPROVEMENT naman akong nakita! (Ouch! Ang bigat palang magbuhat ng sariling bangko! Hahaha!)

A Matter Of Heart

For once.. I wanna be the reason why he cuts his hair, just because I told him so. The reason why he eats something just because it's my favorite food. The reason why he buys a shirt just because I have the same design. The reason why he falls asleep while holding his phone at night. The reason why he love something he used to hate because I love it. And lastly, I wanna be the reason why he smiles, laughs. I wanna be the reason of his every WHYs.

There comes a point in your life that you met someone unexpectedly and you questioned God what His purpose for it. And maybe, just maybe you try to get rid of that person to free yourself from any heartaches or maybe, just maybe you let yourself to be acquainted to that person for no reason at all. It just happen without even thinking about it. And for the first time you find yourself falling for that person over and over again eventhough you didn't asked for it. You try to keep distance but inside you, you just can't because that person had already make a mark in your heart. And in one way or the other, no matter how you deny it to yourself, you just love having that person around.

In his simplest way, he always draw a smile in your face and makes you to not just think twice but thrice! Haha :)

It's a nice feeling, knowing that there is someone out there who is crazy over you. Okay! I'm exaggerating! Haha :) But it is.   

But above all, you just put things in God's hand. Because you know He has a reason for everything. And maybe, just maybe you're praying that this someone will be your everything in the right time and for all the right reason..

#01: What's the silliest thing you've done?

* I think, the silliest thing I ever done was entering the politics world! Making a speech in front of many people announcing that I am running for a Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation President post! It sucks! Nakakabaliw!!! Nakakakaba!!! Haha :) I drunk almost 3 glasses of water straight before going up on stage. I'm nervous! Dah!!! My first time! Hehe :) The shy girl na parating nasa bahay lang at walang imik nag-e-speech?! Hhmm.. That's what you called, improvement! Haha :) I don't know how it all happened for the fact that the other party is a "millionaire" daw but I won! I got the position and I'm thankful to HIM that HE give me that once in a lifetime experienced. And also to the people around who helped and make sacrifices for me and my family, just to win that post. Aba naman, not everyone can be a HON. SHEENA NIÑA O. DEPAUDHON - SK Federation President! Hehehe :)

Papa is LOVE

Traveling Lost

"Follow your bliss - where your deep sense of being is from, where your body and soul want to go… and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be." -Joseph Campbell

The essence of travel is in our desire to discover. A most basic desire of the human soul, discovery calls up the Child Experience, where everything is new and fresh and lies waiting.

Traveling imprints the soul's visa with an exemption from the mundane cares of every day life. Doors do open, providing
opportunities to delight in the unexpected.
Preferring to bypass the cities, I ramble around in the countryside, where each day exploring brings new treasure to light. "Time Is ~ Time Was ~ Time Is Not," this discreetly chiseled inscription, found on
a churchyard sundial, might best describe the essence of traveling throughout.
History and prehistory surface at every turn and I find myself magically falling back
through the ages. Here, there exists the feeling of tapping into an intangible undercurrent of some ancestral memory bank. Some connection to a lost past. The landscape breathes and is alive with enchantment. The veil draped between the known and the unknown seems
thinner.

Letting myself travel lost, far off the touristed map, not knowing where exactly I am, gives me unrestricted access to the unexpected. It is then that synchronous events flourish. It is where I begin to regain myself, and where the return to magic starts.

There is nothing better than to be lost in the winding, narrow, country lanes bordered by those tall hedgerows that define the patchwork of luxuriant green and tawny-yellow fields. With a bit of luck, I stumble on some great ruin of an ancient age around the next leafy turning. A fork in the path leads to a tea garden setting of the 19th century. Ahead, a
bend in the road provides a flickering glimpse of a castle ruin through the elms.
Unexpectedly, in fields of golden grain, immense, ancient stones stand shimmering in the sunlight. Accidental discoveries that open something in my heart. And there's the beauty for me. Not so much seeing the sights, as being part of the moment of discovery.

Absorbing the moment. Letting myself be as lost as possible, with a light and merry heart. I travel exploring not only the tangible landscape around me, but also that which drifts out before me, ephemeral, elusive and compelling. Venturing away from the known circuit
gives rein to my soul's purpose. A desire takes root as something of a personal calling, and I am immersed in the fluid pool of discovery. I saunter. Sauntering allows oneself the opportunity to take in the expected. That, which was alone waiting for its discoverer. A lovely surprise left by a mirthful sprite.

Nothing opens my soul more than partaking in this vast and awe-inducing, cosmically
planned Easter Egg hunt.

Words From A Scratch Paper

Dear YOU,

I fell in love a lot of times. I met different people, from different walks of life, and tried to deal with their personalities. I defeated all the pain, the heartaches, and trashed all the memories which made tears roll down my face. But as they say, repeated experiences make you tired and may even keep you wasted. I got tired. My heart got tired.

I became numb.

By the time I realized that, I felt really sorry for myself, for I can't have that great feeling working through my system again. I admit that I admired people for their looks, their talents and their character, but never did my heart beat the way it did when I felt love in the past. I tried falling for someone, but no matter how hard I do it, I can't make myself fall in love again. Yes, you can never let yourself fall in love, because it just happens - to the most unexpected person, at the most unexpected time. 

I closed my eyes, and believed that no one can make me feel love again, and then I thought of permanently closing my heart. Though there were some who admitted that they have feelings for me, still I can't guarantee that I can love them back. I just can't feel it. No love, no tears, no pains. I have friends, and I considered them as my love.  

I don't want to fall in love again.

I don't want to get hurt again.

I don't want to feel the pain.

I promised myself,

I will never fall in love again- never! 

...until you came... 

I broke that promise I made,

For at last, I felt love again - a love to last forever!

No, I still don't want to feel the pain.

No, I still don't want to get hurt again.

But you're worth it, And yes, I want to fall in love again.

I opened my eyes, and believed that you made me feel love again, and then I thought that I was a fool for attempting to permanently close my heart. You never admitted your feelings, but if you'll do, I'll guarantee you all my love. Now, I can feel it. Yes to love. And I will never let tears and pains bother us. I still have friends, but now, this is a different kind of love.

By the time I realized that, I feel great for I have that great feeling flowing down through my veins. I admit that I admired people in the past, but what's important is you who I admire and love at present. I didn't try falling for you, I didn't make myself fall in love with you, because it just happened - to the most unexpected person, at the most unexpected time. 

I am in love.

Journal: Thinking twice.. Thinking Thrice..

Hello loves!!!

Yah, I know kaka-blog ko lang awhile ago and I'm here na naman. Wala lang.. Can't sleep!!! Thinking this and that...this and that. Thinking once.. Thinking twice.. Thinking thrice..

I can feel the sadness in his heart. It almost broke my heart and for the long time, a guy makes me cry. A guy who for me is just nothing. A nothing that becomes my someone. A someone that becomes my everything. An everything that becomes MINE.

Yah, it's crazy. I thought, everything is just a joke but re-thinking everything tonight from the start to the moment awhile ago, it shot me off-guard.

I can feel what's inside his heart and it makes me not just to think twice or to think thrice but to think everything of it over and over again. But maybe, just maybe.. everything will fall in its place in the right time and in GOD's time.

And maybe, just maybe.. when that right time comes.. he'll forget all his insecurities because in one way or another he is special just the way he is.

It's not because he is this and that but it's because he loves me with all his heart, with all his soul and with all his life.

It is him that I want not the other way around.

As I told you the last time, I'm going to blog my first ever WIN to twitter (or other networking sites) giveaway..
